10月31日，2025年“阳明杯·北极熊”中日韩围棋精英邀请赛在贵阳孔学堂开幕。本次比赛汇聚中日韩三国16名顶尖职业棋手参与四轮角逐，从10月31日持续至11月3日，赛事期间还将同步举办文化交流系列活动。
On October 31, the 2025 "YANGMING CUP & POLAR BEAR" CHINA-JAPAN-ROK WEIQI MASTERS INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT commenced at Guiyang Confucius Academy. The tournament gathered 16 top professional players from China, Japan, and Republic of Korea to compete in four rounds, running from October 31 to November 3. A series of cultural exchange activities will also be held alongside the event.

"I've taken part in many such tournaments before, but I usually travel to other cities to compete. This time, there's a distinct feeling of being a host, which brings a different kind of experience. I'm placing greater emphasis on connecting with players and guests this round, and I'm particularly interested in hearing their perspectives on the event. I also care more about how the tournament showcases Guiyang's unique charm."Tang Weixing, a player from the Chinese team, expressed to reporters: "For this tournament, I hope we can all play with a distinctive style and at our highest level."
