11月10日，来自拉美和加勒比国家的驻华使节代表团一行走进贵州省雷山县西江千户苗寨，沉浸式体验这个被誉为“苗族露天博物馆”的千年古寨。
On November 10, a delegation of adiplomatic envoys to China from Latin American and Caribbean countries visitedthe Xijiang Thousand-Household Miao Village in Leishan County, Guizhou Province, immersing themselves in this ancient settlement often hailed as an "open-air museum of Miao culture."

身着盛装的苗族儿女聚集在寨门前，手捧装着醇香美酒的牛角，吹起芦笙，用浓郁的苗族迎宾仪式“拦门酒”迎接着远道而来的客人，使节们纷纷排队“打卡”。
Dressed in their splendid traditional attire, local Miao people gathered at the village gate, holding ox horns filled with aromatic rice wine. Accompanied by the lively sound of lusheng, they welcomed the distinguished guests with the vibrant "Gate-Blocking Wine" ceremony—a cherished Miao welcoming tradition.

“这个苗寨如此美丽，这里的人们如此动人，我感觉到我和这里的人民之间有一种连接。”品尝苗家甘醇的米酒，现场“蹦苗迪”，亲身体验苗族风情，马丁·查尔斯赞叹道，“他们在保护文化遗产方面做得很好，使得现代人仍能够清楚了解苗族的传统风貌。”
"This Miao village is so beautiful, and the people here are so touching. I feel a genuine connection with them," remarked Martin, after tasting the sweet rice wine and joining in the local "Miao-style disco." He warmly praised the community, saying, "They have done an excellent job in preserving their cultural heritage, allowing modern people to truly understand the traditional essence of the Miao culture."

西江千户苗寨作为贵州的旅游名片之一，是世界上最大的苗族聚居区，由十余个自然村寨，上万人组成。白水河穿寨而过，传统木质风格的吊脚楼依山而建、错落有致，从非遗技艺到民风民俗，这里保存了完整的苗族原始生态文化，是领略中国苗族历史与发展的绝佳之地。
As one of Guizhou's premier tourism landmarks, the Xijiang Thousand-Household Miao Village is the largest Miao settlement in the world. It comprises over a dozen natural villages with a total population exceeding ten thousand. The Baishui River meanders through the village, while traditional wooden stilted houses climb the hillsides in harmonious tiers. From intangible cultural heritage to folk customs, the village preserves the complete, authentic ecological culture of the Miao people, offering a perfect window into the history and evolution of Miao communities in China.

沿着白水河畔，使节们漫步在石板路上，两旁银饰店、服饰店、美食店林立，广场上苗族妇女正跳着热情洋溢的板凳舞。巴巴多斯驻华使馆一等秘书斯蒂芬被一件精美的银饰所吸引。“我在这里买了这个可爱的银手镯，因为我喜爱其精湛的工艺和对细节的关注。”他看着手镯里刻下的自己的名字，为西江之旅留下一份独一无二的回忆。
Strolling along the flagstone paths lining the Baishui River, the envoys explored rows of silver jewelry shops, costume stores, and local eateries. Stefan Carrington-Henry, First Secretary of the Embassy of Barbados in China, was captivated by an exquisitely crafted silver bracelet. "I bought this lovely silver bracelet right here because I admire the superb craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail," he shared, pointing to his name engraved inside—a unique souvenir of his visit.

看着这座古色古香的苗寨里游客人来人往，苗族文化被越来越多的年轻人所喜爱，斯蒂芬点赞其为和谐发展的鲜活代表——在传承文化的同时，实现现代化发展。
Observing the steady flow of tourists through the ancientvillage and noticing how Miao culture is increasingly embraced by younger generations, Stefan commended the development model: "This is an outstanding example of harmonious development—it demonstrates how cultural heritage can be preserved while embracing modernization."
